A Dream Concerto

Evening shadows danced on their crystal window, he watched a light sliding in through the crimson cuts of the glass, slowly settling on her skin, softly piercing into those golden pores and disappearing into her being . She lay there in deep slumber, her beautiful hair slightly sheltering her face. Could it get any more sweet and simple ? a thought crossed his mind. 

He watched her eyes dreaming of a dream , a precious dream a mesmerising dream. The way Her eyes lashes held protectively onto it behind the curtains of those soft lids..  he could not guess what this temptress might be dreaming but he hoped it was him.. A wish inside him bubbled up like a kid wanting to snatch away the candy and run, he wanted to reach over and plant a kiss upon those velvet eyes and then just like that steal her sleep. But he lay there , observing ... smiling .. he had all the time in the world to steal her sleep.. she belonged to him, he thought to himself and smiled.. and soon dissolved into her dream just like that..

She woke up with a soft touch upon her eyes , a kiss? slowly but surely jerking her back to life. She looked perplexed, everything was so still yet serene.

Sunrise knocked on their window, a ray of light coming in. And as she dreamily rubbed her eyes, her gaze fell upon the man of her dreams laying beside her bathed in utter  sleep. She stared at him for few seconds as if she could still be dreaming.. he lay over his stomach, looking like an infant, a big infant. But what a beautiful man he be.  A happiness finally spread over her face. She smiled as she rememebered. He was real and hers. It was not a dream.

She watched his eyes dreaming of a dream , a precious dream a mesmerising dream. A wish inside her bubbled up like a child, wanting to snatch away that candy and run, Oh! but why would she run? She wanted to reach over and plant a kiss upon those tired eyes and then just like that steal his sleep. But she lay there , observing ... smiling .. and soon dissolved into his dream just like that..

And Together, they dreamed love , blissfully.. in the gardens of heaven, till eternity.
